How do I get my show registered?
In order to register your show, you’ll first need to confirm a venue and a date/time slot.
If you have not done so, already, you need to register on Eventotron and look to join the Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027 ‘season’. You can then explore all venues in the Venue Browser section. Venue details will also be listed on the GICF website and on our Venue Finder tool.
From the Venue Browser, you’ll be able to contact venues directly to ‘Express Interest’ and request a slot for your show. Replies will go directly to your Eventotron Inbox. We encourage you to keep this monitored and to reply as efficiently as possible.
Once a venue has accepted your expression of interest, your show will link to the venue.
You’ll then be able to complete your Registration, and click ‘Submit’.
At this point, we will review your registration to ensure we have all the required information. Once approved, you’ll be able to pay your registration fee. Upon receipt of payment, your registration will be complete and your show will be be on sale within approximately 10 working days.
If you have any questions, please contact: info@glasgowcomedyfestival.com.

What information do I need to provide when registering my show?
There are a number of things you’ll need before you can finalise your registration. Please make sure you have all of the following information to hand before you begin:
- See Tickets client account information (all GICF ticketing is managed via See Tickets. If you don’t already have a See Tickets client account – which is different from a customer account – you can find info on how to create one below)
- Show title (include your name if part of the title, i.e. John Doe: Doe Laughing Matter)
- Date / time of your show
- Venue
- Names & email addresses of the performers
- Ticket prices (including any concessions)
- Show duration
- Image (1600 pixels wide x 900 pixels tall AND 1080 pixels wide × 1350 pixels tall (4:5 vertical aspect ratio). Please provide a high quality, high-res image, ideally with no visible text)
- Show copy (description of the show to be included in the festival brochure and/or online listing. The brochure copy must be no longer than 20 words and website copy must be no longer than 150 words. See our Promo Guide for guidance)
- Ticket allocation (i.e. the number of tickets available for sale your show)
- Age guidance (must be in line with your venue’s age policy)
- Content warnings (i.e. swearing, strobe lighting, loud noises, audience interaction, etc)
How do I set up a See Tickets client account?
You can register for a See Tickets client account here. Please ensure you complete your company details on See Tickets so they can register you on their payment system. You can do this by clicking on Company Details in the top right-hand section of the Client Console. Please do not create an event on See Tickets. Once your registration is finalised, we will create the See Tickets listing and link it to your account so you can manage and monitor your sales.
When do I need to pay the registration fee?
All fees are to be paid on Eventotron during the registration process.
What happens if I need to cancel a show – will I be charged?
In the event of a cancellation, there are no cancellation fees applicable to the artist or venue, however, registration fees are non-refundable.
I’m having trouble registering – can you help?
If you’re still stuck, or you have any questions, please email us at info@glasgowcomedyfestival.com or call 0141 260 0500.
