VENUE REGISTRATION FOR GICF 2027

Wednesday 10 March – Sunday 28 March 2027

We would love to have you as part of the Glasgow International Comedy Festival. Register as a venue and you could be hosting GICF 2027 shows.

Register as a venue: Open from July 2026
Act registration: Wednesday 16 September 2026 to Friday 8 January 2027

HOW DO I BECOME A PART OF GICF?

In order to register your venue, please first ensure you register on Eventotron and that all details have been completed in your Venue Profile – this can be found in your Eventotron Dashboard.

Once complete, search for Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027, and apply for the festival.

We will then review your registration to ensure we have all the required information, and confirm your venue.

Once confirmed, your venue will appear in the Venue Browser during Show Registration. Venue details will also be listed on the GICF website and on our Venue Finder tool.

From the Venue Browser, artists will be able to contact you directly to ‘Express Interest’ and request a slot for your show. You’ll then need to accept the expression of interest to link the relevant show to your venue.

All messages will go directly to your Eventotron inbox. We encourage you to keep this monitored and to reply to enquiries as efficiently as possible.

BEFORE YOU START

You will be asked for the following information, so to make your life easier, we advise having all this information ready in advance:

Venue name
Main image (for the website)
Website & social media profiles
Address
Total seated capacity (different to maximum venue capacity)
Internal image (stage / performance area – shown to potential artists)
Venue / room type
Backstage / green room info & images
Venue contact (shared to artists – your programming contact)
Basic tech spec (stage measurements, sound & lighting basics, etc)
Hire charge / deal available to artists
Marketing & promo available to artists (if any)
Age guidance / restriction
What marketing support is available / included as part of the deal (if any)?
Door times (i.e. doors open 30 mins prior)
Accessibility information
Festival marketing & promo options available (i.e. can you display official venue signage / posters / guides, etc)

Once you have added your venue to Glasgow International Comedy Festival 2027, this will be approved by the team at our end.
