Festival: Wednesday 10^th March – Sunday 28^th March 2027

Show Registration Deadlines: 

• Act Registration (web & brochure) Opens: Wednesday 16 September 2026
• Act Registration (web & brochure) Closes: Friday 20 November 2026
• Web only registrations opens: Wednesday 9 December 2026
• Web only registrations closes: Friday 8 January 2027

Show Drops (GICF will announce shows in three waves across the autumn/winter): 

• Thursday 8^th October
• Thursday 5^th November
• Thursday 26^th November

We will then announce additional shows on our launch day in January.

Official Festival Launch: Thursday 7^th January 2026

Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award Dates:

• Award Applications Open: Monday 16th November 2026
• Award Applications Close: Wednesday 13th January 2027
• Award Shortlist Announced: Friday 12th March 2027
• Award Winner Announced: Saturday 27th March 2027
