20.03.13 Sunday Assembly - Calling The Congregation, Gary Little - Fourth Show Announced, BBC Scotland Presents, Two For One Ticket Offers!
Sunday Assembly - Calling the Congregation!
The Sunday Assembly, 31st March, Blackfriars Basement, 1pm.
The Sunday Assembly (the godless congregation labeled ‘Brtain’s first atheist church’) is delighted to announce Sunday Assembly Glasgow, the first Assembly outside London, will be taking place on Easter Sunday.
The Sunday Assembly is part-atheist church, part-foot stomping show, and 100% celebration of life. The theme of Sunday Assembly Glasgow is Easter for Atheists, the speaker is the phenomenal Susan Calman (BBC Scotland, Radio 4). As well as the talk there will be super songs, great readings and, everyone’s favourite, tea and cake at the end.
The service in Glasgow will be led by Sanderson Jones, co-founder of The Sunday Assembly with Pippa Evans. Sanderson wanted people to know: “Anyone across Scotland who wants to start a permanent Assembly should come. It would be great to meet the folk who want to build something wonderful in their own communities”.
This is a free event but a collection plate will be passed around during the service. For more information see here.
