The first acts for the 2026 Glasgow International Comedy Festival revealed
The initial lineup for the 2026 Glasgow International Comedy Festival has been officially announced. The festival will feature performances by Connor Burns, Sue Perkins, Craig Hill, Judi Love, Mark Simmons, Bridget Christie, and the GICF Comedy Gala.
Scotland’s own Connor Burns is set to return to the King’s Theatre following two sold-out shows at the 2025 Glasgow International Comedy Festival. Sue Perkins will be performing at the festival for the first time in nine years, bringing her tour “The Eternal Shame of Sue Perkins” to the King’s Theatre, promising an unmissable event.
Craig Hill, a regular at the festival, will perform two shows at Oran Mor during the opening weekend. Judi Love, known as a panelist on Loose Women and a stand-up comedian, will also grace the stage at Oran Mor during the festival.
Bridget Christie, a stand-up comedian, actress, and writer, will perform at Theatre Royal, while Mark Simmons, the winner of the 2024 Joke of the Fringe, will take the stage at the renovated Citizens Theatre.
The GICF Comedy Gala will be held at the King’s Theatre on the final day of the festival. The highly anticipated event will feature the presentation of the Sir Billy Connolly Spirit of Glasgow Award.

The Glasgow International Comedy Festival will run from March 11th to March 29th, 2026.
Tickets for Sue Perkins, Connor Burns, Craig Hill, and the GICF Comedy Gala go on sale via GlasgowComedyFestival.com at 10am on Friday 27th June.
Judi Love tickets go on sale at 11am on the same Friday.
Bridget Christie tickets go on sale on Tuesday 1st July.
