“From Ice to Insanity” is a raw, hilarious solo stand‑up show about hitting your 40s with an Icelandic passport, an overstuffed suitcase, and a slightly damaged sense of humor. Having wandered across countries and continents, the only constant has been comedy—because if you don’t laugh, you’re just sitting around waiting for this cruel life to be over.
In this show, I mine my own history: growing up Icelandic, navigating aging in a youth-obsessed world, and collecting awkward encounters in foreign lands like other people collect fridge magnets. From icy landscapes to emotional meltdowns, “From Ice to Insanity” explores culture shock, loneliness, middle-age crises, and the ridiculous ways we try to stay sane.
It’s brutally honest, darkly funny, and oddly uplifting—a comic road map through depression, doubt, and delayed maturity, proving that even when life feels frozen and absurd, there’s always one more joke to tell.
