Elaine Fellows: Stalemate (WIP)

A work in progress stand up show from Elaine Fellows (tour support for Laura Smyth, Colin Hoult & Paul McCaffrey).

For years, Elaine has openly admitted to audiences up and down the country that she’s been lying to them and everyone around her. Her whole career in comedy came from a lie she told to her husband on their first date.

But she’s not a liar. Honestly, she’s much worse. She’s a follower. She’ll do anything not to make a decision. But now she’s come to a point in her life where that’s no longer an option. She’s in a stalemate with herself. A show about decision paralysis, French Bulldogs and anxiety.

“She’s a natural storyteller, I’d quite happily have listened for another hour” – The Scotsman
“Hilarious, quirky, prone to oversharing! Appealingly natural. Original yet relatable material” – Chortle
“Absolutely fantastic. A star in the making” – Brighton Grin
“Likeable, funny and endearing” – Three Weeks Edinburgh
