Hajar J. Woodland: First Love (WIP)

In this work-in-progress of her debut hour, British-Iranian comic and singer Hajar J. Woodland weaves standup with musical comedy to explore what it means to find love and your voice when you’re caught between two worlds.

Following her performance of First Love at Soho Theatre for Soho Rising Festival 2025, Hajar’s redeveloping her show, and it’s better than ever! Help her polish it up so it’s ready for the Edinburgh Fringe. Expect plenty of laughs, singing and state school nostalgia.
