Over the last decade we’ve brought the biggest comedy names in the world to Glasgow. Along the way we’ve showcased some of the best home-grown talent too.
The Glasgow International Comedy Festival, the largest event of its kind in Europe, has become a renowned annual event in Glasgow's cultural calendar. The 2014 festival will once again boast an incredible line up of talent from around the globe. With 416 shows, in 46 venues across the city, there will be something to suit every age, taste and budget. This year's festival will run from 14 March - 5 April 2014. Keep checking back here for show announcements and information on how to book tickets!
The festival wouldn’t happen if it were not for our team of dedicated staff. Sarah Watson is the Festival Manager; she’s been on board since the start and really knows her comedy! Katie Hughes is the Marketing Officer. Stuart Humphries is the Production Co-ordinator; he deals with venues, performers and lots of spreadsheets. It is all overseen by Festival Director Tommy Sheppard.
The full programme for 2014 will be released in January, 2014. Keep ahead of the game by registering for our e-newsletter, following us on Twitter and becoming our fan on Facebook. You’ll be the first to know about news, competitions and special offers.
The festival returns 14 March - 5 April 2014, we look forward to seeing you then!
