Blackfriars has a rich history of stand up comedy, some of the biggest acts have played the venue over the past 30 years. A compact room with seating for 130 is the perfect basement comedy club. Regularly hosting nights throughout the year such as Darren Connell & The Funny Bunch, Fresh Comedy, Merchant City Comedy as well as being the new home of The Comedy Cabaret Club every Friday & Saturday. Featuring state of the art sound & lighting equipment this is the perfect venue for standup.
