Short Com Film and Animation Festival

Short Com Film and Animation Festival is dedicated to screening the very best comedy short films by the most exciting new emerging comedic voices in film and animation. Only the funniest films get selected. We’ll be taking over the GMAC Screening Room showing 59 short films with dedicated programmes to animation, and LGBTQ+ filmmakers. Along with talks and networking opportunities to get people inspired and talking about film.

Short Com have been screening the funniest short films and supporting new talent since 2011. And believes in the power of comedy to enrich the lives of people and campaigns for mental well being and suicide prevention.

14:00-15:30 – Funimation – 90 minutes of the funniest new animated shorts.
16:00-17:30 – Queer as Joke – Celebrating exciting, funny film talent and stories by the LGBTQ+ community.
18:00-20:00 – Mixed Nuts – As it says on the tin. An eclectic programme of the funniest shorts from the latest Short Com selection.
