Mark Cooper: WIP Wheelchair In Progress 

Since starting comedy in 2019 wheelchair-user Mark Cooper has faced many barriers to pursuing this passion, including a global pandemic, being unable to get on stage because there is not a ramp, to not being able get into venues because they are up or down stairs.

He is no stranger to GICF, having performed as part of mixed bills, but this is his debut solo show. He will share with you the time someone thought Princess Diana was his mother to the time he was at Disneyworld in Florida, stood up to put something in a bin and people gasped “Oh my god, he can walk”, and other stories. It will be a wheelie good night.
