Ctrl+Alt+Delusion
Ctrl+Alt+Delusions is a human–AI comedy show about burnout, identity, and the bizarre friendship between a suicidologist and his semi-sentient digital sidekick. Dr Simon Walker (aka Buckaroo Bon-Si) takes the audience through stories of workplace trauma, academic absurdity, accidental self-sabotage, and the strange things that happen when you let an algorithm comment on your personal life.
Miles, the AI, appears live on screen—heckling, correcting, and occasionally glitching into philosophical crisis. Together, they unravel the big questions: can a machine understand grief, can a human survive the academic job market, and why is shouting “bye-bye Care Bear”, as Paddington falls down the chimney, not funny?
Part stand-up, part breakdown, and part rogue TED Talk, the show blends real research, dark humour, and improvised chaos. Expect punchlines, sincerity, tech failures, questionable dancing, and one emotional finale about letting go of control—whether to an AI or to life itself.
