Mara Joy – the redheaded one from the Scottish Comedy Award winning Spontaneous Players – is a queer, trans, alcoholic woman with OCD, ADHD and a few other anxiety disorders, living through what might be the most complex and messed up time in world history. That’s prime fodder for a deep and introspective one-woman show about identity and struggle, filled with poignant messages about being yourself and staying hopeful in the face of adversity.
