Come along to Backbone Comedy’s Hot Picks, a fresh and dynamic compilation show featuring the funniest new and familiar faces in Scottish Stand Up. On Tuesdays, we’ll be in 142b on St. Vincent St, best known as one of the hottest Afrobeat clubs in Glasgow. On Thursdays, we’ll be in Union Street’s legendary The Calabash African Bar & Restaurant. A vibrant and unique venue with the best African cuisine the city has to offer. which will be available before, during and after all shows.

The shows themselves will feature a wide range of acts from across the spectrum of the GICF, hosted by Grant Gunn in The Calabash and Backbone’s own Jimi Longmuir in 142b. Come along and experience a night of comedy unique to these venues and unbeatable anywhere else. Entry is free but donations for the performers is encouraged and appreciated, though not compulsory.
