Antony’s Gone: Up the Greek Without A Paddle
McChuills
An Amateur Dramatics Company have prepared their own telling of the Greek Tragedy, Antigone. The Actor’s are ready, the Audience is eager, the show is prepared. Nothing could go wrong…right?
Antony’s gone
Is actually a play that was meant to be the ingenious adaptation of the Greek tragedy ‘Antigone’, directed by Luke Lortie. A grand night of history and passion is expected to be shown to the audience. However, when the director finds out he has had two of the main cast drop out of the show, he turns to the wrong people and the show begins to crumble infront of the audiences’ eyes. We wish we could say the original cast could save Luke Lortie’s show but, if anything, they were always going to bring it down.
