Des Clarke has reached breaking point and needs to sort his life out.
Glasgow's own star of stage and screen gets it all off his chest in a roller coaster of high energy comedy nonsense.
Des began his stand up comedy career in 2000, conquering all before him and winning a string of prestigious industry awards. This lead to a successful TV career which has seen him front high profile programmes like the Commonwealth Games Closing Ceremony, Children In Need and SMTV. In addition to guest appearances on Still Game, Celebrity Eggheads and the NBC Today Show.
His most notable TV achievement in recent times were his efforts to swim, drive and cycle for the first time. All in aid of Sport Relief, Des Clarke’s Tryathlon was one of BBC Scotland’s breakout shows of 2018.
He can currently be found hosting the Capital Breakfast Show and BBC's Breaking The News. But it’s on the stand up stage where Des is truly at home.
Catch Des live, as he returns to the Glasgow International Comedy Festival, a Broken man.
