Change Of Show! Je Suis Comedian

The Glasgow International Comedy Festival in association with The Sunday Herald present Je Suis Comedian: What Are You Laughing At?, a panel discussion exploring the role of comedy and satire in the modern world. This event replaces the previously scheduled A Funny Thing Happened On The Way To Westminster.

Debate has raged over what the recent tragedy in Paris means for free speech. In a multi-faith, multi-cultural society, are there areas which should not properly be the object of humour? Can comedy bring people together in the wake of tragedy? Is unrestricted free speech essential to the functioning of our democracy, and are we more tolerant of free speech in some domains than others?

Join host Richard Walker, journalist Joyce McMillan, comedians Imran Yusuf and Bruce Morton, and broadcaster Stuart Cosgrove as they discuss: What Are You Laughing At?

Je Suis Comedian: What Are You Laughing At? takes place on Thursday 26 March 2015 at 8pm at the Citizens Theatre. Tickets are available from and via the box office on0844 873 7353
